Municipality lifts 82 abandoned vehicles, issues 48 citations in Mubarak Al-Kabeer

During ongoing inspection campaigns the Kuwait Municipality teams in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate has lifted 82 abandoned vehicles, scrap materials, motorcycles, and illegal commercial containers, and issued 48 citations to violators of public hygiene and road obstructions.

The Municipality also announced the removal of 131 posters related to abandoned vehicles and unauthorized containers, in addition to the replacement of 33 old waste containers with new ones to enhance cleanliness, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to the Public Relations Department, these campaigns are part of efforts to intensify monitoring, enforce hygiene and road occupation regulations, and activate the oversight role of relevant departments across all governorates.

The Public Cleanliness and Road Occupancy Department confirmed that the field teams toured residential areas, beaches, and key roadways, aiming to remove visual clutter and road obstructions, prevent illegal waste dumping, and maintain the aesthetic and environmental quality of public spaces.
