Municipality determined to pull back licenses of violating campers

The Public Relations and Media Department of Kuwait Municipality has announced that the Camps Committee has approved a recommendation outlining violations that would lead to the cancellation of spring camp licenses.

During a meeting yesterday, the municipality confirmed the cancellation of 8 licenses due to violations of rules and regulations, reports Al-Jarida daily.

The statement from the municipality outlined that the committee identified violations in accordance with the conditions and controls for establishing spring camps.

If the license holder is found to exploit the camp for a purpose other than it is licensed for or establishes negative phenomena conflicting with Islamic teachings and conservative customs and traditions, the necessary measures will be taken to cancel the camp license.
