Municipality demolishes 33 illegal camps, issues 60 warnings, impounds 22 violating food trucks

Kuwait Municipality’s supervisory teams are enforcing the law across northern camping areas and has resulted in the removal of 33 camps built in non-designated locations.
During the campaign the Municipality also issued 60 warnings to others to dismantle their camps and impounded 22 mobile food trucks for violating municipal regulations.
According to the Municipality, public hygiene department teams in the Al-Jahra Governorate oversaw the dismantling of camps that failed to comply with camping regulations, including those who set up outside authorized camping zones or lacking valid camp permits.
The operations were carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, the Environment Public Authority, and the Kuwait Fire Force, ensuring full adherence to safety and environmental standards.
The Municipality’s Public Relations Department affirmed that inspection teams will continue their presence across all camping locations throughout the season.
Their mandate includes monitoring for illegal setups, enforcing compliance with regulations, and taking necessary action to uphold public safety and preserve designated natural areas.
