Municipality cracks down on illegal livestock pens across governorates

The Public Relations Department of Kuwait Municipality announced that its inspection teams have stepped up field inspections across all governorates under the direct supervision of the Director General, Engineer Manal Al-Asfour, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior.

During these inspections, teams identified violations and removed prefabricated livestock pens — commonly known locally as “Kirby” structures — that were built on state property, reports Al-Rai daily.
The municipality emphasized that field inspections will continue and called on violators to comply with regulations and promptly remove illegal structures to avoid facing legal consequences.
