Mughal Mahal hosts Mongolian Food Festival

As part of a series of events to mark 50 years of diplomatic ties with Kuwait

Mongolia celebrated its Republic Day and the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with the State of Kuwait with a vibrant cultural event, highlighted by a special Mongolian Food Festival hosted at the iconic Mughal Mahal restaurant in Hawally.

The celebration brought together over 100 guests, who were treated to an authentic culinary experience showcasing traditional Mongolian dishes. The festival emphasized the richness and diversity of Mongolia’s cultural and gastronomic heritage, offering attendees a unique insight into the country’s traditions through its cuisine.

Speaking on behalf of the restaurant’s management, Mr. Ashok Kalra expressed his appreciation to Mongolian Ambassador to Kuwait, H.E. Sergelen Purev, for choosing Mughal Mahal as the venue for the celebration.

He highlighted the importance of food as a powerful medium for promoting cultural exchange and fostering stronger ties between nations.

In recognition of Mughal Mahal’s role in promoting cultural understanding, Ambassador Purev presented a commemorative memento to Mr. Kalra as a gesture of appreciation for supporting cultural exchange between Mongolia and Kuwait.

The event reflected the enduring friendship between the two countries and underscored the role of cultural diplomacy in strengthening bilateral relations.
