MPW speeds up road repairs in Sulaibikhat, urges cooperation from road users

Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan announced that field teams continue to carry out infrastructure upgrades and periodic road maintenance on Khalaf Al-Ahmar Road in Sulaibikhat.
These efforts are part of the Ministry’s broader strategy to enhance the national road network and improve the efficiency and safety of internal roads across Kuwait.

Al-Mashaan confirmed that the work is being supervised on-site by ministry engineers, using advanced equipment and adhering to approved technical standards and safety protocols, reports Al-Rai daily.

The ongoing roadwork, which includes the application of Type 3 asphalt, is progressing according to schedule and aims to improve traffic flow, respond to citizens’ concerns, and enhance quality of life in residential areas.

Engineer Mamdouh Al-Enezi, Deputy Engineer of Maintenance Contract No. 13 in Jahra Governorate, affirmed that the follow-up is based on the minister’s directives.

The Ministry emphasized its commitment to ensuring a modern and safe road infrastructure and urged local residents to cooperate with temporary traffic diversions during the construction period.
