Most Rev. Dr. Theodosius Mar Thoma Metropolitan to visit Kuwait
The Kuwait City Mar Thoma Parish is honored to welcome His Grace the Most Rev. Dr. Theodosius Mar Thoma Metropolitan, the Supreme Head of the Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church, on his pastoral visit to Kuwait from 27 January to 2 February 2026.
His Grace will lead the parish in commemorating the 63rd Parish Festival, in a celebration of six decades of spiritual growth and community service.
His Grace Dr. Theodosius Mar Thoma Metropolitan, installed as the 22nd Metropolitan in November 2020, is a distinguished theologian and global Christian leader.
Born on 19 February 1949, he holds advanced academic degrees and is internationally recognized for his scholarship in Comparative Religions.
With over 36 years of pastoral service across India, North America, and Europe, he is widely respected for his ecumenical vision, inclusive leadership, and dedication to social transformation.
The Kuwait City Mar Thoma Parish, established in 1963, stands today as one of the largest parishes of the Mar Thoma Church, with an active fellowship engaged in mission, outreach, and spiritual formation. His Grace’s visit is expected to be a time of renewal, blessing, and inspiration for the entire parish community.
