Mongolia keen to boost tourism ties, launch joint ventures with Kuwait: Ambassador

H. E. Sergelen Purev, the Ambassador of the Republic of Mongolia to Kuwait, emphasized his country’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Kuwait across various sectors.

His Excellency Sergelen Purev, the Ambassador of the Republic of Mongolia to the State of Kuwait, emphasized his country’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Kuwait across various sectors, particularly in tourism.

Ambassador Purev stated, in a statement issued by the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry after receiving an economic delegation specializing in the tourism sector and headed by the ambassador, that the main goal of the visit is to review the investment opportunities available in Mongolia’s tourism sector.

The ambassador added that one of the goals of the visit is to establish joint projects that would enhance investment cooperation between the two friendly countries.

He expressed his gratitude for the existing cooperation with the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry and highlighted the great interest that the Mongolian side attaches to joint investment with the Kuwaiti business sector in various fields.

Members of the visiting delegation reviewed the tourism services they provide, such as recreational trips and high-level hotel services, in addition to the enormous tourism potential that Mongolia enjoys, which has greatly increased the number of tourists over the past years.

For its part, the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry emphasized, according to the statement, the importance of bilateral visits and direct meetings in enhancing cooperation with Mongolia in all fields, including the tourism sector.
