Mongolia congratulates Kuwait on the occasion of National & Liberation days
On behalf of the people and the Government of Mongolia, as well as in my personal capacity, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait; His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait, His Highness Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister, and His Excellency Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, Minister of Foreign Affairs, on the occasion of the 64th National Day and the 34th anniversary of the Liberation of the State Kuwait.
Mongolia takes great pleasure in witnessing Kuwait’s continued growth and rising prominence on both regional and international stages over the years. I am honored to highlight that Mongolia was among the first countries to condemn the Iraqi invasion in 1990 and to express unwavering solidarity with the people of Kuwait. This milestone is not only a celebration of Kuwait’s rich history and remarkable progress but also a testament to the resilience, unity, and determination of the Kuwaiti people.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the State of Kuwait. Over the past five decades, our trade and economic cooperation have steadily grown, particularly in key sectors such as trade, economy, tourism, infrastructure, health, education, and agriculture. Notably, the export of Mongolian meat to Kuwait and the establishment of an Air service agreement to open direct flight, and our increasing cooperation in the tourism sector has played a pivotal role in enhancing our bilateral ties. I remain confident that our cooperation will continue to strengthen and evolve in the years to come. Once again, I extend my sincerest wishes for good health and well-being to His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, His Highness Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah, and His Excellency Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, and wish progress and prosperity to the people of Kuwait.
