MoJ delivers over 124,000 judicial notices via ‘Sahel’ app in three months

The Ministry of Justice said between April and June 2025 over 124,000 electronic judicial notifications were sent to individuals through the “Sahel” application. This achievement follows the implementation of Ministerial Resolution No. (125) of 2025, which mandated the adoption of electronic means for judicial notifications starting April 1.

According to the ministry, the electronic notices issued through “Sahel” accounted for approximately 93 percent of all judicial notifications describing the outcome as a clear indication of the system’s success and the public’s responsiveness to the new digital channel.

This shift is part of the Ministry of Justice’s broader strategy to modernize the litigation system by incorporating advanced technologies. The goal is to accelerate judicial procedures, reduce dependence on traditional paper-based methods, and ensure the timely and secure delivery of notifications to concerned parties.

The ministry emphasized that the “Sahel” platform has significantly boosted the efficiency of judicial operations, enhanced transparency, and upheld individuals’ right to legal reporting. By enabling quick and verifiable access to official notices, the system supports the highest standards of reliability and accountability in legal communications.

This development marks a crucial step toward Kuwait’s vision of a smarter justice system, leveraging innovation to streamline processes, empower users, and ensure effective legal service delivery in the digital age.
