MOJ completes over 1.7 mln transactions via Sahel in first half of 2025

The Ministry of Justice announced that it completed 1.7 million electronic transactions through the “Sahel” app during the first half of 2025 — a 40% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

In a statement published on its official website, the ministry highlighted the significant role of digital payment services in enhancing efficiency and revenue collection. Total payments made via the app reached 17 million Kuwaiti dinars, marking a 126% surge over last year, reports Al-Rai daily.

The ministry also reported that more than 4 million notifications were sent to users during this period, reflecting a 33% increase.

Officials attribute this growth to the expanding use of smart services and the public’s growing trust in digital government platforms.
