MoI warns against international impersonator gangs

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) reiterated its warning on international impersonator gangs, posing as security personnel whilst using e-communication devices. These are fraudsters from overseas, and extreme caution must be exercised not to fall victim to their deceit. The MoI has repeatedly warned the residents of Kuwait, especially since the ministry will not resort to communication via video calls, neither ask anyone for their bank information.

It called on citizens and residents to quickly inform the competent authorities when they receive such suspicious calls, as “these calls are being monitored and tracked by the relevant authorities in the MoI to take the necessary stringent measures against them.”
