MOI Undersecretary Al-Wahib inspects security readiness at facilities and Nuwaiseeb border

The Ministry of Interior Kuwait reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening security preparedness and field readiness across its sectors as the Undersecretary of the ministry, Abdul Wahab Al-Wahib, carried out an inspection tour on Tuesday covering several key security facilities.
During the visit, Major General Al-Wahib inspected the General Department of Facilities Security, where he was briefed on the operational workflow and the mechanism for deploying security forces.
Officials explained the distribution plan of personnel as well as efforts to intensify patrols and enhance the security presence across various locations, reports Al-Rai daily.
The tour also included a visit to the Nuwaiseeb Border Crossing, where the Undersecretary reviewed procedures for receiving citizens arriving from abroad. He inspected the level of field readiness among security personnel and examined the measures in place to maintain security and order at the crossing.
During the inspection, Al-Wahib listened to the requirements and needs of officers and staff to ensure that all necessary resources are provided and to address any operational challenges they may face.
The Undersecretary emphasized the importance of vigilance, strict adherence to the law, and equal enforcement for all. He also stressed the need to facilitate procedures for citizens and residents, reflecting the ministry’s commitment to ensuring public safety and smooth operations.
At the end of the tour, Major General Al-Wahib expressed his appreciation to personnel of the Facilities Security Department and the Nuwaiseeb border crossing for their dedication and continuous efforts. He praised their professionalism and effective role in maintaining security, urging them to further enhance their performance and continue serving as a strong shield protecting the nation’s security and stability.
