MOI to suspend all transactions for those without biometrics

The Ministry of Interior confirmed the suspension of all government transactions related to Kuwaiti citizens and residents if biometrics are not in place. The final deadline to register biometrics is September 30, and for residents December 31.

MOI media officer Major Shaheen Al-Gharib said the ministry had extended the time earlier for those who missed the opportunity.

Al-Gharib added in an interview with a Kuwaiti Eshraqa program on Al-Akhbar channel that more than 2.5 million citizens, Gulf and residents have registered their biometric fingerprints so far.
