MoI: Security situation under control amid ongoing monitoring

Kuwait Ministry of Interior said that security agencies are closely monitoring developments around the clock, affirming that the situation inside Kuwait remains under control while maintaining a high level of readiness to safeguard citizens and residents.
The remarks were made by Brigadier Nasser Bousleeb, Director General of the General Department of Security Relations and Media and official spokesperson of the ministry, during a media briefing on the latest field developments considering the Iranian aggression against Kuwait.
The spokesman said that explosive ordnance disposal teams handled 15 field reports in the past 24 hours related to shrapnel resulting from defensive interception operations, bringing the total number of such reports since the start of the attacks to 329.
He added that warning sirens were activated twice across the country during the same period, raising the total number of siren activations since the beginning of the aggression to 82 times. – KUNA
