MOI okays new organizational structure

The Ministry of Interior has approved a new organizational structure to enhance its operational efficiency and leadership framework.

This reorganization introduces the roles of one Undersecretary, two Assistant Undersecretaries, and ten sector heads, each responsible for key areas within the ministry.

According to informed sources, Major General Ali Al-Adwani will take on the role of Assistant Undersecretary for Security Support Services, while also serving as the Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior. Major General Hamed Al-Dawas has been appointed Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs.

The ministry’s sector leadership comprises experienced officers heading critical divisions: Major General Hamad Al-Munaifi oversees Security Directorates; Major General Mujbil bin Shawq leads Border Security and the Coast Guard; Brigadier General Abdul Wahab Al-Wahib is in charge of Criminal Security; Brigadier General Dakhil Al Dakhil manages Private Security and Correctional Institutions; Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Atiqi heads Traffic and Operations; Brigadier General Atef Al-Habashi supervises Ports Security Affairs; Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Zoubi is responsible for Financial Affairs and Support Services; Brigadier General Fawaz Al-Roumi leads Nationality and Residency; Brigadier General Ali Al-Wahib directs Education and Training; and Brigadier General Anwar Al-Yatami manages Human Resources and Information Technology.
