Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Public Security Affairs, Major General Hamed Al-Dawas, went on an inspection tour of the Traffic and Operations Sector, where he was received by the sector head, Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Atiqi. The visit was part of ongoing field tours by senior ministry officials to monitor progress of work and evaluate operational readiness.
Major General Al-Dawas began his tour at the driving test centers, where he reviewed the latest systems used for both theoretical and practical driving tests. He praised the awareness programs targeting new drivers, noting their important role in promoting a culture of traffic safety, reports Al-Jarida daily.
The tour continued with a visit to the Traffic Operations Department, where Al-Dawas inspected the central control room and the smart road monitoring system.

Concluding his tour, Al-Dawas visited the General Directorate of Emergency Police, where he was briefed on report-handling mechanisms and the rapid response system.
He also inspected the new security patrols recently received by the directorate. These vehicles are equipped with advanced technologies that enhance the ability of security forces to intervene swiftly and respond effectively to emergencies.
