MOI launches new digital service to facilitate procedures for parents

The Human Resources and Information Technology Sector of the Ministry of Interior in cooperation with the Directorate General of Nationality and Travel Documents, has launched a new digital service designed to simplify procedures for parents.
According to the ministry, the service targets parents wishing to obtain a “true copy” of the passports of their children under 16 years of age, reports Al-Rai daily.
The initiative aims to provide an official and certified copy of passport data, which can be used as a verified document by government and official entities when required.
The ministry highlighted that the new service offers several advantages, including speed of completion, accuracy of information, and enhanced reliability through the use of modern digital technologies.
This initiative reflects the Ministry of Interior’s continued efforts to streamline public services and expand the use of digital platforms in line with Kuwait’s broader e-government transformation goals.
