MOI in major security sweep in Sabah Al-Ahmad Marine Area
Multiple arrests made, citations issued, vehicles seized

The Ministry of Interior carried out an extensive security campaign in the Sabah Al-Ahmad Marine Area to reinforcing public safety and uphold the law.
The operation was carried out under the direct supervision of Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs Major General Hamed Al-Dawas, with the participation of Brigadier Abdullah Al-Ateeqi, Head of the Traffic and Operations Sector, and Brigadier Abdulwahab Al-Wahib, Head of the Criminal Security Sector.
Several senior officers and department heads of the Criminal Security Sector, the Drug Control Department, the Security Directorates Sector, the Traffic and Operations Sector, and the Private Security Sector were also involved in the field campaign.
The joint effort was part of a broader strategy to maintain security, ensure compliance with the law, and apprehend violators across Kuwait and came upon directives of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef Al-Sabah.
The campaign resulted in the issuance of 1,844 various traffic violations, highlighting continued vigilance on road safety and driver compliance.
Two persons were arrested for possession of suspected narcotic and intoxicating substances. Three others were detained for violating residency and labor laws, while another three were held for lacking proper identification documents.
The authorities also apprehended five persons reported absconding by their employers and five others who had arrest warrants issued against them.
Five vehicles and motorcycles sought by the judiciary were seized, along with six others impounded for traffic-related violations.
Additionally, one person was detained for being in an abnormal state, and another was arrested for involvement in pending criminal cases.
The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining law and order through continuous and targeted field campaigns, emphasizing that such operations will continue in all regions to preserve public safety and deter illegal activity.
