MoI handled 10 shrapnel reports in 24 hours amid Iran attacks

Kuwaiti explosive ordnance disposal teams dealt with 10 reports related to falling debris resulting from defensive interception operations over the past 24 hours, amid an onslaught of Iranian missile and drone attcks, the Interior Ministry (MoI) said on Tuesday.
This brings the cumulative total of such reports to 616 since the start of the Iranian attacks, ministry spokesman Brigadier Nasser Bousalaib told a media briefing on current developments and the latest updates over the Iranian assault on Kuwait, citing air sriens has been activated once over the past 24 hours for a total of 159 times.
On hightened security presence nationwide, he said the measure aims to protect public security and safety, urging maximum cooperation with police officers and full compliance with their instructions.
He went on to reiterate an interior ministry call for the surrender of unlicensed firearms, ammunition and fireworks no later than Wednesday, highlighting the measure as aiming to preserve public security while warning that violators would face unyielding legal action.
