MOI halts transactions for debtors to safeguard public funds

The Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Ministry of Interior has announced a significant measure aimed at safeguarding public funds. In accordance with Circular No. 24 of 2024 issued by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, all transactions for individuals who owe money to the Ministry will be suspended, regardless of their citizenship status.

Emphasizing its commitment to providing efficient services to citizens, Gulf citizens, and residents, the Ministry of Interior has urged prompt settlement of outstanding debts, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The Ministry facilitates transactions through various channels, including its official website http://moi.gov.kw, the Sahel application, and in-person service centers. Transactions are processed promptly upon receipt, ensuring swift service delivery across all sectors.

To avoid disruptions to their transactions, the Ministry urges individuals to settle any outstanding dues promptly. Payments can be made conveniently through the Ministry’s official website or the Sahl application, ensuring seamless completion of services without delay.
