MOI conducts live-fire exercise between Awah and Kubbar Islands

The Directorate-General of the Police Aviation Wing of the Ministry of Interior, announced that a live-fire training exercise will be carried out at the BRAVO naval site starting today (Sunday) and continue through Tuesday.
According to an official statement, the exercise takes place daily from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the area located between Awah Island and Kubbar Island, extending from sea level up to an altitude of 3,000 feet.
The ministry called on sea-goers, fishermen, and boat owners to avoid approaching the designated training zone during the specified hours and to strictly follow safety instructions to ensure public security, reports Al-Rai daily.
Officials explained that the exercise forms part of approved training programs aimed at enhancing operational readiness, improving efficiency, and strengthening the capabilities of aircrews to perform their duties in accordance with the highest standards of safety and security.
