MOI begins issuing passports to women whose nationalities have been revoked

The Ministry of Interior announced the government has begun issuing passports to women whose Kuwaiti nationality had been revoked under Article 8 of the Nationality Law and who had previously submitted their passports to the ministry.

According to a statement issued by the General Department of Public Relations and Security Media, the procedure requires booking an appointment in advance through the unified government e-services application, Sahel.

To book an appointment, the Al-Rai daily said, users must access Sahel, select the “Appointments” service, then choose “Ministry of Interior – General Department of Nationality and Travel Documents,” and proceed to select the “Passes Article 8 Passport Collection” service.

The ministry emphasized the importance of bringing the original passport delivery receipt when arriving at the scheduled appointment time.

This initiative is part of the Ministry’s commitment to implementing directives related to travel documents for this specific category. It aims to streamline workflow and facilitate procedures in line with legal regulations to serve the public interest effectively.
