MOI activates immediate arrest of debtors under new Bankruptcy Law

The Ministry of Interior announced that, following the implementation of Decree Law No. (58) of 2025 amending the Bankruptcy Law, arrest and detention orders for debtors have been activated and are now directly linked to the “Field Monitor” application, allowing security units to enforce them immediately.
The ministry stated that these arrest warrants will be executed across public roads, at security checkpoints, and through all air, land, and sea ports to ensure the prompt arrest of wanted individuals and prevent any attempt to evade legal action, Al-Rai reports.
It added that individuals with outstanding warrants may settle their dues or clear their financial obligations directly at the airport or via the “Sahel” application — specifically through the Ministry of Justice’s electronic payment services — enabling them to regularize their status without delay.
The ministry urged all individuals with pending orders or debts to act promptly and resolve their legal or financial situations, noting that enforcement measures will now be carried out on the ground in real time through electronic integration with the “Rased” system.
