MOH plan gets to convert Jahra facility into Kidney Dialysis Center

The Jahra Governorate Municipal Council Committee has approved the request of the Ministry of Health’s to change the use of a site in Jahra’s Block 90 — from insect control center into a kidney dialysis center. The approval also includes adjusting the site’s boundaries and adding extra space to suit its new purpose.
During the committee meeting chaired by Abdullah Al-Enezi, members agreed to return a proposal concerning the road linking Saad Al-Abdullah City to the Amghara Industrial Area — known as Dhabib Amsh Al-Shammari Street — to Kuwait Municipality’s executive body. They requested an updated response and coordination with the Public Authority for Roads and Land Transport to address the matter, Al-Rai daily reports.
The committee also reviewed a proposal to establish a pedestrian walkway, bicycle path, and recreational areas—including children’s playgrounds and sports equipment — adjacent to plots 9–11 in Saad Al-Abdullah residential city. The proposal was retained for future consideration.
Meanwhile, the council postponed discussions on its previous decision to allocate a site for a mosque and parking spaces in the Al-Naeem area.
The committee also deferred deliberation on a request to change the property-use category for several plots in Block 90 in Al-Jahra.
