MOH organizes workshop on health
The Ministry of Health embarks on the Strategic Planning Workshop in the realm of health, organized by the ministry’s Health Planning and Development Department.
Hosted at the Kuwait Institute for Medical Specialties (KIMS), the workshop is scheduled to run until the Jan 31. Dr. Maitham Hussein, Director of the Department, highlighted that the event, work of a distinguished panel of specialists in health systems research, health planning and development, health economics, and healthy cities, delve into various aspects from preparation to implementation, reports Al-Jarida daily.
Over the course of four days, the workshop will underscore the significance of applying systems thinking in the health system.
Participants will gain insights into fundamental strategic planning approaches and learn how to align them with national development plans and the government’s work program.
Furthermore, the current state of the health system in Kuwait will be thoroughly examined, encompassing strengths, challenges, and opportunities. The ultimate goal is to formulate a comprehensive strategic framework for the Ministry of Health.
