Minister of Health Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi said the Ministry is committed to advancing healthcare services and continuing its journey of achievement to elevate Kuwait’s status at the international level.
His remarks came in a press statement following the announcement of a significant medical milestone — the successful completion of nine advanced robotic (remote) surgeries, a feat that received high praise from the country’s leadership.
Dr. Al-Awadhi thanked His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah for their steadfast support of the national healthcare system.
He emphasized that the progress made is the direct result of the political leadership’s continuous backing and generous patronage, which serve as both a motivation and a responsibility to push forward and further improve health services.
“The Ministry of Health will continue its efforts with determination and dedication,” Al-Awadhi said, pledging to maintain momentum, raise the standard of care, and strengthen Kuwait’s position in global health forums. He concluded by praying for the protection and continued prosperity of Kuwait under its wise leadership.
