MOCI inspects fish market auction in Sharq

The Minister of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) and Minister of State for Communication Omar Al Omar paid an inspection visit to the fish market auction at Sharq.

The MOCI stated, through a post on the social networking site ‘X’ that “this visit is to follow up on work progress and to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.”

The minister stressed the importance of supporting the fishing industry, activating the role of trade control and protecting consumers while ensuring high quality products.
