Minor fire breaks out at Jahra Hospital; no injuries reported

The Ministry of Health announced that a minor fire broke out this morning in an electrical room connected to Jahra Hospital. The incident was swiftly brought under control, and no injuries were reported.
According to the ministry, the fire originated from an electrical cable in the women’s observation room, with smoke spreading through the hospital’s main building via the air-conditioning vents.
The automatic sprinklers were activated immediately, and the hospital’s emergency response plan was implemented, including a precautionary evacuation of nearby patients.
Acting Minister of Health and Minister of Information Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, accompanied by the Health Ministry Undersecretary, visited the site to assess the situation.
The ministry commended the prompt and professional actions of the General Fire Force, Ministry of Interior, and hospital medical teams in ensuring the safety of all patients and staff.
