Ministry warns against fraudulent traffic violation messages
The Ministry of Interior launched a new and exclusive electronic service through the ‘Sahel’ application, allowing users to issue driving permits via the platform.
• Traffic violation payments are only made through official apps, and the public is urged to report suspicious messages or activity via the Easy app.
The Ministry of Interior has cautioned the public against responding to fraudulent messages or visiting anonymous websites that impersonate the ministry and request payment for traffic violations, according to Al Anba newspaper.
Citizens and residents clarified in a statement that payment of violations is exclusively conducted through official channels, namely the Ministry of Interior application and the Easy Application. They emphasized that the ministry does not send text messages from international phone numbers and urged the public to verify the sender’s identity and report any suspicious activity immediately through the security service in the Easy Application.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Interior announced the launch of a new and exclusive electronic service through the ‘Sahel’ application, allowing users to issue driving permits via the platform.
The ministry stated that this service is dedicated to Kuwaiti citizens, streamlining the process of issuing driving permits through the traffic services available in the application.
