Ministry vows swift action against 12th-grade examination delays

The ongoing investigations in the Ministry of Education have reached the initial lines of those who caused the delay in the 12-grade exams, and the Ministry of Interior is being addressed, and there is direct and continuous coordination with them to investigate the matter and uncover those involved.
Dr. Adel Al-Adwani, the Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, has asserted that the ministry will take decisive action against anyone responsible for the postponement of the 12th-grade Islamic education exam, Al Rai newspaper reported.
He emphasized that penalties will be imposed irrespective of the individual’s position and pledged to tackle corruption and misconduct with an iron fist.
Ahmed Al-Wahida, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Education, said that the minister emphasized not allowing “failure, manipulation, or tampering with the future of our students, while confronting negative phenomena with the solidarity of loyal members of the ministry.”
Al-Wahida expressed the dissatisfaction and condemnation of all those working in the educational field over the unfortunate events surrounding the Islamic education exam, emphasizing that postponing the exam until next Monday is intended to ensure equal opportunities and justice for all male and female students in the twelfth grade of secondary school.
In a press release, Al-Wahida said, “The Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Adel Al-Adwani, was present with a number of officials and educational leaders at the headquarters of the Secret Printing Press in the morning and inspected the work mechanism to identify the defects that led to the unfortunate incident.”
He added, “The minister immediately directed officials to implement a number of firm preliminary decisions, namely postponing the Islamic education exam for the scientific and literary sections, relieving employees of the secret printing press, assigning new members to complete their duties, changing the work plan, and taking all necessary precautions for the remaining exams through a new mechanism.”
He continued, “The minister directed us to quickly take all necessary legal measures and implement strict regulations without leniency against anyone who seeks to disrupt and influence the integrity of the educational process and secondary exams, and prove their negligence in performing their professional duties, stressing that the ministry will not hesitate to apply penalties to everyone who caused the incident.”
Al-Wahida stated, “Regardless of their position, he will fight corruption and corruptors with an iron hand, preserving the integrity of the educational system and refusing to allow neglect, manipulation, or tampering with the students’ futures.” He said he will continue to tackle these harmful events with the full support of all faithful ministry members.
Al-Wahida said that “the ongoing investigations in the Ministry of Education, under the direct supervision and follow-up of the minister, have reached the initial lines of those who caused the incident, and the Ministry of Interior is being addressed, and there is direct and continuous coordination with them to investigate the matter and uncover those involved.”
He urged male and female students to continue studying, to strengthen their resolve, and to avoid everything that distracts them in order to achieve their goals and ambitions and obtain high grades, while adhering to the instructions and guidance provided to them by committees, and not to be drawn into distractions that attempt to destabilize their educational journey and negatively affect their concentration and academic achievement.
Amer Al-Ajmi, the head of the Local Affairs Sector and the government’s official spokesman, denied reports on social media and news services that Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Adel Al-Adwani, had resigned from his position.
In a press statement, Al-Ajmi stated that all legal action is being taken against those who published this news, urging everyone to investigate accuracy and rely on official sources, and warning against spreading false news and rumors, stating that those who promote them will face legal consequences.
