Ministry rolls out mobile transformers for smooth national elections
Five diesel transformers were distributed to the main committees to secure electrical power in those schools.
The Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy affirmed its preparedness to supply mobile diesel transformers to different electoral committees as required on polling day for the National Assembly elections.
Sources in the ministry indicated, “These transformers are provided to the five main committees in the various electoral districts to ensure the smooth continuation of the electoral process and to address any emergencies that may arise on polling day.”

In a separate context, the electrical load index reached 9,730 megawatts on Tuesday afternoon, as temperatures rose to 33 degrees Celsius. It is anticipated that the index will surpass the 10,000 megawatt mark on Thursday, with the maximum temperature expected to reach 35 degrees Celsius.
