Ministry reshuffles 13 officials to boost professional performance
The decisions and movements encompassed the companies and commercial licenses sector, along with the commercial control and consumer protection sector within the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
• Faisal Al-Ansari now heads the Commercial Control Protection Department. Mansour Al-Nazhan leads the Commercial Repression and Fraud Department.
Informed sources revealed to Al-Rai newspaper that the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has initiated a broad rotation of department directors and heads across its various sectors. This rotation included 13 officials from different departments, aiming to enhance the professional performance level in the ministry’s operations.
The sources indicated that the decisions and movements included the companies and commercial licenses sector, as well as the commercial control and consumer protection sector. The rotation also involved transfers in the sector of the Assistant Agency for Control and Consumer Protection Affairs.
In this regard, the sources said that Faisal Al-Ansari was appointed as the Director of the Commercial Control Protection Department. He previously served as the Director of the Technical Staff of the Advisory Committee to supervise commodities and determine their prices.
Additionally, Mansour Al-Nazhan was appointed as the Director of the Commercial Repression and Fraud Department, having previously held the position of Director of the Commercial Control Department. Furthermore, Nasser Al-Mutairi was appointed as the Director of the Technical Body of the Advisory Committee, supervising commodities and determining their prices. He previously served as the acting Director of the Consumer Protection Department.
Lastly, Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi was appointed as the Director of the Consumer Protection Department, having previously served as the Director of the Commercial Fraud Suppression and Awareness Department.
Approvals were also granted for changes within the Assistant Agency for Corporate Affairs and Commercial Licensing sector. Abdul Rahman Al-Numis was appointed as the Director of the Minister’s Office Administration, previously serving as the Director of the Insurance Department. Sultan Al-Otaibi was appointed as the Director of the Joint Stock Companies Department, having previously held the position of Director of the Commercial Registry Department.
Additionally, Ali Al-Dahoum was appointed as the Director of the Registry Department Al-Tijari, previously serving as the Director of the Joint Stock Companies Department, and Issa Al-Jimaz as the Director of the Insurance Department, formerly the Director of the Real Estate Department.
Nasser Al-Mulla was also appointed as the Director of the Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Department, having previously served as the Director of the Small and Medium Enterprises Licensing Department.
Nidal Khuraibet was appointed as the Director of the Personnel Companies Department, previously holding the position of Director of the Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Department. Saif Al-Ruwais was appointed as the Director of the Small and Medium Enterprises Licensing Department, having been the Director of the People’s Companies Department.
In the Assistant Agency Sector for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Saleh Al-Randi was appointed as the Financial Accounts Controller in the Financial Affairs Department. He previously supervised anti-money laundering and terrorist financing activities.
Noura Aba Al-Safi was appointed to supervise the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing in the Assistant Agency Sector for Technical Affairs and Trade Development, where she was previously overseeing financial account monitoring.
