The Ministry of Public Works has revealed 35 projects, in various stages from tender to implementation, which will feature in its annual plan for supply, contracting, and service agreements in the areas of “maintenance engineering,” “planning and development,” and “the government center for inspections and quality control,” along with the General Authority for Roads and Land Transport for the fiscal year 2024-2025.

The projects are detailed below:

There will be thirteen comprehensive projects in the maintenance engineering sector, aimed at radical maintenance work for road infrastructure across the governorates of The Capital, Hawalli, Farwaniya, Jahra, Al-Ahmadi, and Mubarak Al-Kabeer.

These projects will be open for bids from local, Gulf, and international companies, with two projects planned for each governorate, covering different scopes of work. The implementation timeframe for each project is set at 1095 days. Additionally, a separate project involves the construction and maintenance of a car park in the Amghara region, including the upkeep of roads and squares within the parking area.

Furthermore, there are two tenders—one for the maintenance, restoration, and construction of Ministry of Public Works buildings, and another for maintaining service sectors and roads of state institutions in the Hawalli, Al-Ahmadi, and Mubarak Al-Kabeer governorates.
