Ministry of Interior introduces three new digital services via ‘Sahel’

The Information Systems Department of the Ministry of Interior in coordination with the Criminal Investigations Department, has introduced three new digital services via the unified government application “Sahel”, reinforcing Kuwait’s ongoing drive toward digital transformation and integrated government services.
According to a ministry statement, the newly introduced services include:
- Issuing a “certificate to whom it may concern” regarding complaints submitted to the Technical Office Department
- Scheduling and managing meetings with the office director
- Sending review notices electronically
The ministry highlighted that these services are designed to streamline procedures, reduce bureaucratic delays, and save time and effort for citizens and residents alike, reports Al-Rai daily.
The services also aim to improve service quality, ensuring alignment with the state’s vision for an efficient, integrated digital government.
The officials emphasized that the launch reflects a broader strategic effort to modernize government operations, expand the digital services ecosystem, and make public services more accessible, transparent, and user-friendly for all.
