Ministry of Interior cracks down on violations in Al-Dajeej
The ministry affirmed that security campaigns will continue across all regions, in coordination with relevant authorities, to apprehend violators and ensure the law is applied equally to all without exception.
As part of ongoing efforts by the Ministry of Interior’s Criminal Security Affairs Sector to uphold security and apprehend violators, an extensive campaign was carried out in the Al-Dajeej area of Farwaniya Governorate, Al Jarida newspaper reported.
The operation was conducted in the presence of Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs, Major General Hamed Al-Dawas, and reflected the ministry’s commitment to continuous field monitoring. The campaign involved the Kuwait Fire Force, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Kuwait Municipality, and the Public Authority for Manpower.
The campaign led to the detection and issuance of several violations. The Criminal Security Sector in the Farwaniya Governorate Investigations Department arrested 63 individuals, including 47 violators of the Labor Law, nine without proof of identity, six with absence reports, and one with an expired work visa.
The Kuwait Fire Force issued 76 violations, while the Ministry of Commerce and Industry closed one café and issued 38 seizure reports. The Kuwait Municipality recorded two violations for exploiting space, 34 warnings, 18 scrap reports, 40 abandoned car warning stickers, and three advertising reports. The Public Authority for Manpower issued 23 notices to address occupational safety violations.
