Ministry of Higher Education opens registration for Distinguished Scholarships Plan for 2025/2026

The Ministry of Higher Education announced the opening of registration for the Distinguished Scholarships Plan for the 2025/2026 academic year, starting Thursday, June 12, 2025, and continuing through to the end of February 2026.

This initiative is part of the Ministry’s commitment to supporting academic excellence and preparing a generation of highly qualified students to meet the evolving needs of Kuwait’s labor market and development agenda. The plan offers outstanding Kuwaiti students the opportunity to pursue higher education in top-tier international universities across a variety of critical disciplines, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to the announcement, the Distinguished Scholarships Plan targets students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance, leadership potential, and a commitment to contributing to the nation’s future. The scholarship covers full tuition fees, living expenses, and other academic costs, allowing recipients to focus entirely on their studies and personal development.

The Ministry emphasized that applicants must meet the eligibility requirements, which include academic qualifications, standardized test scores, and documentation as outlined in the scholarship guidelines. Applications must be submitted electronically through the Ministry’s official website, where detailed instructions and application procedures are provided.

Students are encouraged to begin the application process early, as it involves multiple stages of assessment and review.
