Ministry of Health refutes viral reports about ‘emergency plan’

The Ministry of Health clarified that reports circulating on social media regarding an “emergency plan and related health circulars and procedures” are false. The ministry emphasized that no such statement was issued by its official authorities, according to Al Rai newspaper.

The Ministry of Health emphasized in a statement the importance of obtaining information from official sources to avoid causing unnecessary concern among citizens.

It also stressed that it will take all necessary legal measures against those spreading rumors and promoting misleading information, in order to protect individual health, ensure public safety, and maintain a stable information environment.
