Ministry of Health launches vertical transfers for critical patients to Jaber Hospital

Dr. Ahmed Al-Shati, Director of the Medical Emergency Department at the Ministry of Health, announced the activation of vertical patient transfers to Jaber Hospital, according to Al Jarida newspaper.

Al-Shati stated in a press release that, as part of the opening of the trauma center at Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Hospital, a practical drill was conducted to transfer an injured person from the Al-Sabah health area to the hospital’s trauma department via the runway. This drill was part of the emergency preparations and readiness of the hospital’s injury center.

He added that the medical team successfully completed the transfer in just six minutes and thirty seconds, demonstrating their commitment and efficiency in saving lives.
