The Ministry of Electricity and Water and Renewable Energy (MEW) in a statement warned customers about fake emails about electricity and water consumption bills.

The ministry emphasized its lack of affiliation with these emails and clarified that it never initiates refund processes via links.

Customers are strongly cautioned against clicking on any attached links, as these fraudulent messages pose a serious risk of account theft.
