Ministry of Education seeks 1,600 teachers for 2024/2025

Many candidates are currently undergoing procedures for appointment in the upcoming year.

  • The final group of Jordanian teachers will arrive in August. Several candidates, completing medical procedures next month, will start work through the new teacher training course.

  • The Ministry of Education is working to fill the supervisory positions announced for the next month, following the end of the application period set by the ministry.

According to educational sources cited by Al-Anba newspaper, the Ministry of Education requires 1,600 male and female teachers to address the shortage in educational staff for the upcoming 2024/2025 academic year. However, the situation remains reassuring and is not a cause for concern.

The sources explained that numerous teachers, both Kuwaiti and non-Kuwaiti, were appointed at the end of the current academic year. Additionally, many candidates are currently undergoing procedures for appointment in the upcoming year.

The final batch of external contracts for Jordanian teachers will arrive next August, and several applicants are in the final stages of their appointment, set to complete their medical procedures by the end of next month and begin their work through the training course for new teachers.

The sources further stated that the ministry is working to fill the supervisory positions announced for the next month, following the end of the application period set by the Ministry of Education.

They emphasized that the ministry’s leadership is committed to ensuring the stability of the educational system and filling vacancies before the start of the academic year.
