Ministry of Education rolls out digital service to fix work records

Acting Undersecretary Mohammed Al-Khalidi said the initiative reflects the ministry’s commitment to adopting advanced digital tools that streamline procedures and ensure fairness among employees.

  • Acting Undersecretary Mohammed Al-Khalidi stressed the need to attach all required documents, including the new appointment decision, transfer decision (internal or external), and the commencement of work decision, to validate the request.

The Ministry of Education has announced the launch of a new electronic service that enables employees to correct their work status through the CSC KW MOBILE app, part of the Civil Service Bureau’s integrated systems, reported Al Rai newspaper. The service will be available from the 25th of this month for one month.

Acting Undersecretary Mohammed Al-Khalidi explained in an official circular that the initiative reflects the ministry’s commitment to adopting advanced digital tools that streamline procedures and ensure fairness among employees.

He added that all ministry staff can use the service if discrepancies are found between the work center data recorded in the system and the actual situation, provided that supporting documents are attached to validate the request.

Al-Khalidi explained that the process for submitting an application begins by accessing the CSC KW MOBILE app’s homepage and selecting the main menu, where the employee’s and direct supervisor’s information will appear. From there, the employee proceeds to the electronic forms section, chooses “Request an electronic form,” enters the correct work location, and provides any necessary notes for the amendment.

He stressed the need to attach all required documents, including the new appointment decision, transfer decision (internal or external), and the commencement of work decision, to validate the request.

Once submitted, the application will appear in the system under “Under Study.” It will then be reviewed by the Administrative Affairs Sector, which will audit the attached documents and decide whether to approve the correction or reject it if requirements are not met.

Al-Khalidi emphasized that this initiative reflects the ministry’s digital transformation efforts, ensuring accurate data, administrative efficiency, and streamlined services.
