Ministry launches new service on Sahel for self-financed students abroad

The Ministry of Higher Education announced the launch of a new digital service on Monday, enabling self-financed students studying abroad to apply for social benefits through the government’s “Sahel” platform.
In an official statement, the ministry confirmed that the service is in line with the directives of Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nader Al-Jalal, emphasizing the importance of enhancing digital services and streamlining procedures for users, according to Al-Rai daily.
The ministry explained that the new service allows students to submit applications for financial rewards quickly and conveniently, eliminating the need for in-person visits to government offices.
It also reaffirmed its commitment to expanding electronic services in partnership with the “Sahel” application to boost operational efficiency and meet the expectations of students and beneficiaries.
