Ministry installs 5,125 interactive screens to boost innovation in schools

The Ministry of Education affirmed on Wednesday its commitment to integrating modern technology to keep pace with rapid digital advancements, aiming to invest in the future of education and expand blended learning opportunities to enhance students’ digital skills, according to Al Jarida newspaper.

The ministry stated on its official social media account on ‘X’ that as part of its preparations for the new academic year 2024-2025, 5,125 interactive screens were installed across various educational stages to create a more engaging and interactive learning environment, fostering innovation and creativity among teachers and students.

The ministry specified that 294 screens were installed in primary school computer labs, 472 in intermediate school labs, and 4,359 in secondary school labs and classrooms.

The ministry added that the introduction of these interactive screens aims to stimulate classroom engagement and activity, improve the clarity of educational materials, encourage teamwork and cooperation, offer diverse educational resources, enhance technology skills, facilitate the sharing of educational content, and support distance learning.
