Ministry eyes upgrades to visitor ‘fees and exemptions’ policy

The Ministry of Health is actively exploring updates to the ‘fees and exemptions’ policy for visitors to health facilities. A comprehensive report is being prepared, and the policy is set to be updated within the near future, according to the report published in the Al Anba newspaper.

In the same context, the Ministry of Health recently issued instructions on how to deal with and provide services to illegal residents.

The instructions stated that those holding valid cards issued by the Central Committee for Illegal Residents are exempt from all fees and charges for health services in the ministry and are included among the exempted categories, in accordance with Ministerial Resolution No. 68 of 2011.
