Ministry debuts ‘issuing temporary residence’ service on ‘Sahel’ app

The Ministry of Interior has launched a new electronic service in the ‘residence services’ section of the government Sahel app. The ‘issuing temporary residence’service, covering Articles 20 and 22, was reported by Al Jarida newspaper.

This service will allow the sponsor to receive a notice containing the electronic poster without needing to visit the Residential Affairs Sector to print the residence label.

These steps are part of the ongoing efforts by the General Directorate of Residency Affairs and the General Directorate of Information Systems to simplify and streamline procedures for citizens and residents.
