Ministries roll out open-door policy for citizens with specific visit dates
Several ministries announced specific dates for receiving visitors and are working to facilitate their transactions.
The ministries began implementing the royal directives and putting into effect the instructions of His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister, regarding the implementation of the open-door policy for citizens. In this context, Dr. Mathal Al-Huwaila, the Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Child Affairs, and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, announced that Wednesdays of every week would be allocated to receive citizens from 10 am to 2 pm at the ministry’s headquarters in the Ministries Complex.
The Ministry of Justice also announced that the Undersecretary has designated Wednesdays of every week, during official working hours, to receive any auditors he wishes, to hear their complaints and suggestions for developing the work.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Education is moving to allocate one day a week to receive visitors, similar to the Ministries of Justice and Affairs, in implementation of the directives to follow an open-door policy for citizens and residents.
