Ministers discuss unified approach to foreign certificate equivalency
The meeting, attended by senior officials from Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Minister of Education and officials of higher education institutions, focused on the organizational and technical aspects of the equivalency process.

Dr. Nader Al-Jalal, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Jalal Al-Tabtabaei, the Minister of Education, discussed developing a unified mechanism for the equivalency of foreign secondary school certificates during a meeting, reported Al Qabas newspaper.
The meeting, attended by senior officials from both ministries and representatives of higher education institutions, focused on the organizational and technical aspects of the equivalency process. The aim is to ensure fairness and equal opportunities for Ministry of Education graduates seeking enrollment in higher education institutions in Kuwait and abroad. Discussions also addressed standardizing procedures to meet future requirements and serve the interests of students and their families.
Ministers Al-Tabtabaei and Al-Jalal highlighted the importance of ongoing coordination and collaboration between the two ministries, with the goal of establishing an integrated and equitable system that strengthens public confidence in foreign certificate equivalency mechanisms. Both emphasized their commitment to implementing the agreed-upon measures promptly to ensure efficient completion and achieve the intended objectives.
