Ministers act on Prime Minister’s call to speed up implementation of housing project

Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs Abdullatif Al-Mishari; Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, and Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy Dr. Subaih Al-Mukhaizeem met to review and implement the directives of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah regarding the enhancement of services linked to housing projects.
According to a statement issued by the Public Authority for Housing Welfare to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the meeting was held by the Coordination Committee on today (Tuesday) chaired by Minister Al-Mishari, with the participation of the ministers and senior officials from concerned government entities.
The committee examined the Prime Minister’s recent recommendations and instructed all relevant parties to intensify efforts to remove obstacles that impede progress. The discussions also focused on tracking the progress of housing care projects and ensuring alignment with predetermined timelines.
The ministers reaffirmed their collective commitment to advancing housing care projects in accordance with the directives of the political leadership. Their shared objectives include providing adequate housing for citizens, enhancing infrastructure, and maintaining high-quality standards across all project phases.
The meeting also acknowledged the constructive collaboration among government bodies in addressing key observations and resolving challenges related to housing project implementation. This cooperative approach is expected to contribute significantly to developing effective strategies for overcoming current barriers.
It is noteworthy that the Prime Minister chaired a session of the Coordination Committee on Monday, where he emphasized the need to eliminate obstacles and strengthen coordination among agencies to expedite ongoing housing projects. The committee’s mission is to accelerate project execution, ensure adherence to timelines, and swiftly address any issues that may arise during implementation.
