Minister unveils affordable minced meat for ration card holders

Khalifa Al-Ajil, the Minister of Commerce and Industry, has announced the inclusion of minced meat in the ration card at a reduced price, according to Al Rai newspaper.

The ministry stated on its ‘X’ account that this decision was approved by the Committee for Subsidized and Reduced Materials, which includes the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition and other relevant agencies. The aim is to diversify the products available on the ration card, with implementation set to begin on November 1, 2024.
